Security System Engineer

We are partnering with a global technology company to find a Security System Engineer who wants to go beyond routine operations and play a key role in building secure, resilient infrastructure at scale.

The Opportunity

This role puts you at the core of infrastructure and security operations, where your work directly impacts system reliability and protection.

You’ll be part of a highly collaborative environment, working alongside experienced engineers to design, improve, and secure production systems used on a global scale.

Your Day-to-Day

• Take ownership of system security and stability across Linux and Windows environments

• Work on cloud and hybrid infrastructure, ensuring everything runs securely and efficiently

• Design and implement authentication and access solutions (SSO, Active Directory, certificates)

• Improve and automate processes using Terraform, Ansible, and modern DevOps practices

• Manage and optimize virtualization and networking layers (VMware, NGINX, load balancing)

• Troubleshoot complex issues and keep systems running smoothly

• Collaborate with engineering teams to continuously strengthen the overall security posture

What You Bring

• Solid experience in system engineering, infrastructure, or security-focused roles

• Strong hands-on expertise with Linux systems

• Experience working with virtualized environments (e.g. VMware)

• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS

• Practical knowledge of automation and configuration tools

• Good understanding of security principles and authentication mechanisms

• A proactive mindset – someone who spots problems before they happen

• Confidence working in an English-speaking environment
